My boyfriend is a heroin addict and he wants to get help by going to the methadone clinic. He has been clean for two weeks now and got his own methadone to handle the drug sickness and now that he is without he is going crazy. He doesn’t want to do it again but he is freaking out….He has been yelling about how he won’t be able to get into the clinic on Monday since he is clean…and he won’t stop…His parents care but I guess they are sick of dealing with it and I don’t want to leave him alone or call the cops. I don’t know what to do to help him calm down or seek help. He is against going to the hospital or to a detox program because he has been through it before and says that it doesn’t work. Please spare me the whole leaving him thing because I know that but I am not going to sit and allow him to harm himself but I am going through extreme anxiety bc he won’t stop and Im fearful someone else is going to hear him and call the police. How can I help him? Is there any hope?
He has no money or insurance to afford the hospital….either….
