how long does suboxone stay in your system?

hello, my friend is dumb and took a single 8mg suboxone to try to get “high”. hes on hydrocodone (percocet) 15mg pills for a ruptured disk. little did he know suboxone is an opiate blocker and will stop his hydrocodone for releaving his pain. what we are wondering is how long will a single 8mg suboxone stay in system and stop his correct medication (percocet) from working? he refuses to speak to his doctor.

well, the average half life of suboxone is 37hrs. so i'd say wait two days and then it should be all out of his system. but it's also a opiate so i'm not exactly sure if your friend will be in that much pain.
